3.5 miles this am. Run/walk (I had to go to the bathroom so bad) and I was tired. Truth …I’m 15-20 lbs heavier than I like to be. I'm still healthy but have gotten into some old habit patterns that don’t serve me best for my mental and physical health.
The last 2 years I’ve been in transition of figuring out what kind of workouts do I like? Do I like going to the gym? Do I like lifting heavy? am I a runner? WTF!!
How about eating? Do I like to eat meat? Am I dairy free? Coffee or no coffee! Snacks…yup? What feels best for my body?
I share this because I know I’m not alone. I know I am strong but sometimes I am weak.
But that doesn’t mean I give up. That doesn’t mean I don’t keep trying. That doesn’t mean I’m a failure. I’m f$$king human after all. With all the things blasted at us all the time it’s is hard to remember who we are.
What do I like?
What work best for me?
What is my body telling me?
I can’t control everyone else but I can control my choices, my actions, my mindset and my perimeters.
